Our most advanced classes; for students who have completed an Introductory Acting Class (here or anywhere), and/or have experience in Community Theatre and/or in the Profession.
How do great actors bring so much invention to their roles? Whatever your experience, no matter your age, regardless of your aspirations, this course peels back the mystery, with simple, clear guidance on how to approach any role in any script. Students are given a firm basis on which to build and grow.

Fundamentals of Scriptwriting:
Come learn a step-by-step process to a deep understanding of story-telling through dialogue and action.
Daniel has been teaching this MRU class for more than 20 years! His award-winning film "Burned" has been to Film Festivals around the world and his plays have had more than 50 productions throughout Canada, and in LA, Chicago, St Louis, Pittsburgh, plus several times in New York City. His play Cote Saint Joe is being considered for production in NYC for 2025. His new full-length feature screenplay, "Polynia", co-written with Vera Neverkevich, earned Daniel and Vera an invitation to Stowe Story Labs. In September 2022, Daniel and Vera travelled to Stowe, Vermont, to further develop their script. Right after, Daniel was in NYC directing a public reading of a new play of his at Voyage Theater.
NOTE: Fundamentals of Scriptwriting is again being offered in-person.
